Jacob Thorne is a third-generation Disciple and graduate of Eden Theological Seminary. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and is a former member and alumni of the Lily-funded Bethany Fellowship. He is the co-author of Missional Youth Ministry – From Gathering Teenagers to Scattering Disciples. Before joining Community Christian Church as the senior minister, he served as the senior minister of First Christian Church, Troy, MO, and as the associate minister and minister of youth at Broadway Christian Church, Columbia, MO. Jacob has four beautiful daughters: Annabelle, Clara, Ella and Grace.
